Dr Craig Render BVSc - Partner Craig grew up locally and graduated from the University of Queensland in 1995. After spending four years in mixed-animal practice in the UK, he then returned home to form part of the team at Booval. He enjoys all aspects of veterinary life but is particulary keen on radiography (x-rays), thoracic medicine and fostering the relationships that develop with clients through general practice. Craig spends his time working here and at our other cliic at Karalee Village and enjoys his time off by reading, kayaking and spending time with his young family. At home he has two naughty Border Terriers called Max and Taz. |

Dr Scott Campbell BVSc - Partner
Scott Campbell graduated from UQ in ‘94 and rejoins the clinic group after originally working with the team at Booval Veterinary Hospital for 2 years from ‘99. Since then Scott has worked in the UK and US, gained his Membership in Small Animal Medicine and became a Diplomate of the American College in Small Animal Nutrition. He has a friendly, approachable manner and an absolute dedication to pet care and we’re lucky to have him back. Scott will take a primary role alongside Craig here at Pine Mountain as well as consulting at Booval on a regular basis. At home he one spoilt cat called Fuzzy. |

Dr Jason Wendt BVSc - Partner
Jason attended Ipswich Boys Grammar, graduated with first class honours from the University of Queensland in 1996 and has worked in the local area ever since. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience in all areas of veterinary medicine in both domestic and farm animals. He is particularly interested in small animal internal medicine and critical care and regularly attends further-education courses on the subjects. When not at work he can be found at home spending time with his three sons, moving irrigation pipes and playing with his cows. |

Dr Fiona Chong BVSc - Veterinarian Fiona joined the clinic in 2007 as one of our dedicated, caring veterinarians. She is friendly, helpful and has quickly become popular with clients. Although she enjoys all aspects of her varied role, avian and exotic medicine is one of Fiona’s areas of special interest. When not at work she spends her time playing badminton, socialising with her youth group and watching TV. She has two cats called Kitty and Coco and a bird called Cocktail. |

Jodi Lorton - Head Nurse
Jodi originally joined the clinic in 1992 and has seen it grow and change a fair bit in that time. Having started off as a vet nurse in her home town of Adelaide, she moved to Brisbane and has been an important part of the clinic ever since. Jodi has mastered all of the required skills for a modern vet nurse but gets particular satisfaction from helping clients better care for their pets on a day-to-day basis, managing the clinic's varied stock and generally keeping the clinic in good running order. When not at work she spends her time running her two children around to various school sporting events, watching DVDs and going to watch the Lions play. She has thirty budgies, three horses, two fish and one handsome cat called Solly. |

Julie-Ann Currell - Veterinary Nurse
Julie-Ann joined the clinic in 2003 after spending 11 years in practice in Toowoomba and 14 years in practice in Beenliegh before that. She has a wealth of experience that comes from years of dedicated service and a passion for pet care that is as strong today as it was at the start of her career. She gets particular satisfaction from caring for surgical and hospitalised patients. When not at work she spends her time riding her horses, organising shows for her local horse club and keeping her property in order. She has 15 cats, 5 dogs, 3 horses and a goat called Bailey. |

Sam Lawrie - Veterinary Nurse
Sam joined the clinic in 2008 while completing her senior year at Ipswich Girls Grammar and has gone on to follow her goal of becoming a full-time veterinary nurse. Sam is a bright and cheerful nurse who enjoys all aspects of her job but gets a special satisfaction out of surgical nursing. While not at work she spends time playing hockey, playing touch football, going to the movies and looking after her four cats, two dogs and three birds. |

Shelli Hume - Professional Groomer
Shelli has been with us since 2006 and forms an important part of the team. She has been a professional groomer since 1996 and has gained an excellent reputation in the local area since then through her mobile service. Shelli is a helpful, friendly member of the team with a real passion for caring for pets. When not at work she spends time going to dog shows, taking her daughter to dance competitions and going to the movies. She has three dogs called Ella, Blossom and Gabe. Shelli is available for full clips, minor trims and full-service hydrobaths but bookings are essential, so call the clinic today. |
